Gloucester/Rockport

FULL DAY TOUR

Gloucester is a coastal city on Cape Ann.. Its fishing heritage is reflected in the harbor-side Fisherman’s Memorial, with a statue and names of those lost at sea. As America’s oldest seaport with an authentic working waterfront, and home to the oldest working art colony in America.

Rockport is a naturally beautiful and quirky town along the coast, full of art galleries, shops and restaurants. Bearskin Neck is the top spot to visit in Rockport. It’s a peninsula jutting out into Rockport Harbor, and you could spend hours there visiting the stores, gift shops, restaurants, and art galleries. It is the original settlement in the area, once known as Sandy Neck. Some of the houses date back more than 300 years. At the end of Bearskin Neck you’ll find a lookout area called “the point.” It’s not a very long walk, and you are treated to a great view of the open sea. Full Day Tour
